East Nipissing Minor Hockey Association

About Us

East Nipissing Minor Hockey (ENMHA) is a welcoming, friendly hockey association that focuses on player development and the fun of the game.

If the Game Isn't Fun...

First and foremost, we believe that the game of hockey should be fun - and it is!  If the players are not having fun, then why even play the game?  Hockey is more about the game, or the wins or losses - it is a community where we support our members and teams no matter what. Its a place where our children can develop their physical fitness, their teamwork and sportsmanship, confidence and discipline, and most importantly it is fun and you will make long-last friendships!

Player Development

We want all of our players to develop - no matter what their hockey dreams may be, from just going out and playing well to higher aspirations such as AA, AAA, or even higher!  We try to ensure that ever year that every child receives a coach that holds the same values as our organization.  At the end of each season, we ask survey-based feedback on your coaches to ensure that they are meeting your and your child's expectations.  We take this feedback very seriously and use it for next season.  Coaches are human, and we believe that development of these great resources is vital.

We also host weekly goalie development sessions free for those players who are registered in our membership of the year.  Player skill development is also important and we provide various skill development throughout the season.

It Takes A Village...

Remember that old proverb that it takes a village to raise a child?  Well, it takes a village, of volunteers to develop hockey players.  East Nipissing is a not-for-profit incorporated organization with the sole purpose to provide a fun and safe place for your kids to learn the game of hockey.  Without our volunteers, we would not be able to provide this great resource.  This is not our (the Executives) organization, it is your organization - without your support we would not be able to do what we do.

If you have any time to spare and you want to help us in any capacity, please let us know!  Also, highschool students can earn volunteer hours that are required for graduation.

Do you have any thoughts, ideas or comments to make us better?  Please let us know!  Contact us via email or via our Facebook page to send us your great ideas!
